R M Williams, as a Bushmen's Outfitter, since the earliest years of its history has always sold rainwear for
the mounted stockman and those many others in our rural community who needed, in their daily working lives,
reliable protection from the rain.
Strangely, it was not until 1988 that we began making and branding oilskin garments in our own factory.
These garments, like those we had always sold, were of our own design in the traditional heavyweight fabric.
RM'S continued to make such coats under their Droughtbreaker label, RM's were hearing from the market that
a lighter, dry finished oilskin anorak was needed, and decided to introduce the Waxed Droughtbreaker Oilskin
Anorak JA507.

Today, the traditionally styled coat is still make from natural cotton fibres which still allow the body to
breathe, preventing that uncomfortable, personal greenhouse effect. And the scientific theory that oil and
water don't mix still keeps out the heaviest downpours of rain, even when you need to be outdoors for days
on end.
Today, the Driza-Bone range includes coats, jackets, vests, trousers, hats in a variety of fabrics and
weatherproofing finishes, dog coats, as well as a range of leather accessories. All are designed and made
with meticulous attention to detail, to provide comfort, durability and practical good looks.
For 25 years, Kakadu Traders Australia has been developing and producing outer-wear tough enough to take on the outback with classic Australian styling.
