Some Akubra Hats fall into the Special Category and take 10-12 weeks in the production queue.
Akubra are constantly manufacturing their best sellers; for their slower moving styles Akubra collect
orders over 10-12 weeks to ensure they have enough to fill a production run.

We do not attach chin straps to Akubra Hats, it is an irreversible procedure. We do not make permanent changes to all products as there may be a problem with the size/colour/style.

GST (Australian Government Goods & Services Tax) is only applicable on orders delivered within Australia. GST is added at the checkout pages.
Permits are compulsory when posting Crocodile products overseas. Permits are Aust$10 each and are supplied by Dept of Environment. We bulk purchase Permits and create in-house, permits are always immediately available. Please note you may order as many Crocodile products as you wish and only one permit is required per shipment.
If you wish to post crocodile product overseas yourself, we recommend the product is accompanied with a permit. If you choose to post without a permit there is a strong chance the product with be confiscated. Contact us – we will supply the permit.
Wild Crocodiles are a protected species, permits are not available to poachers this enables the Dept of Environment to protect our wildlife.
Permits are not required when posting within Australia.
Crocodile Retail/Over the Counter Sales – the Retail Outlet will supply a permit if you buy 3+ crocodile products. These permits can only be used with carried on luggage. Not for posting crocodile products overseas.
We package everything appropriately to ensure that it arrives intact. Although some hats can be packed flat – we do not flatten, hats will reach you in a ‘new’ condition’. We do not charge a handling or admin fee.

RM Williams and Blundstone ranges are vast; as you will appreciate it is impossible to stock all sizes/colours in all styles.
The shipping time guides provided on this website are quoted by Australia Post and indicate approximate delivery times only - they are not guaranteed delivery times.
Aussie Bush Hats cannot be held responsible for delays in parcels arriving at their destinations. This includes, but is not limited to: delays with any nominated carriers or carrier agents/representatives, delays in customs processing and clearance, delays resulting from industrial strikes/protests/wars/natural disasters.
It is not unusual for parcels to be delivered later than Australia Post’s estimated times.
Australia Post does not allow for Customs Clearance. In some cases parcels can be held up in customs for up to 4 weeks. If you have not received your order within the estimated times, please be patient. You may wish to check the postal websites in your country- not all postal websites offer this facility.
